Impermanence

I returned to the same place, and everything looked different. Changed by experience, memory, and the passage of time.

The river threads its way between cliffs, dark stone rising on either side. Sunlight catches the ripples, while shadows cling to the cliff faces. The current moves steadily, carving its path with precision and persistence, nature’s relentless artist.

Plush, lush and tactile.

Green embodies life, renewal, nature, and energy. It is a constant source of inspiration, reflected in my tapestries.
Like Lilliputians at China Beach, my creations explore scale, detail, and wonders that often go unnoticed.

Respect

A few heartbeats before dusk, low tide and to reflect before the days’ end.

Where water and sky meet, the horizon blurs into a seamless expanse, and light and colour dance, inviting ideas without limits, like a blank canvas.

Perched on the edge of the pier, this humble shack called to me. Peering inside, I could make out a can of WD40 and odd bits of brightly coloured plastic, red, yellow, and green on the window ledge. These random artefacts might have belonged to a jug of paint thinner or a jar of peanut butter.

Continually exploring the margins along the shore between the water and the land.
